The Foundation Centre of Mediation and Community Security – aims at developing a model of community security, systems and protocols of multi-institutional collaboration and services at the highest standards in order to protect the victims of any type of abuse and the vulnerable people, by an integrated multidisciplinary approach and by showing respect to each person. The priority of the past 15 years was to introduce European and international models of development and community security adapted to the necessities and realities of the regions where the Centre of Mediation and Community Security develops its programs (rural and urban areas, 9 counties and approximately 40 communities from the North-Eastern region of the country). The organization has contributed to creating a modern law for protecting the victims of domestic violence and to introducing the mediation as an alternative solution for solving conflicts.
